Deal alert: Points and miles travel deals for July 2025

From bonus points on your next hotel stay to generous sales on airline miles, we're always looking for travel deals that help you earn more points and miles and redeem them for maximum value. In other words, we want to help you book the vacation of your dreams.

This week, we found first-class fares to London starting at 68,000 miles and two exciting new points hotels — a suite-style hotel near Yellowstone National Park and a luxurious property on Italy's Lake Como — that you can book with Marriott Bonvoy points. Plus, one of our favorite travel cards, the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, is out with a best-ever welcome offer: Earn 100,000 bonus points plus a $500 Chase Travel℠ promo credit after spending $5,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening (see rates and fees).

We help our readers each week by rounding up ongoing promotions so they don't have to scour the internet for the best reward redemptions and offers. This includes everything from frequent flyer programs and hotel rewards programs to credit card offers and rental car deals. Here's our latest list of noteworthy new points and miles promotions for July.

Airline loyalty program promotions (July 2025)

Airline loyalty programs can offer trip discounts on certain dates, as well as the chance to earn more miles for future travel and deals to rack up points toward elite status. Below are some of the best offers we found for July.

Earn up to 25,000 AAdvantage miles on flights Down Under

If your travel plans include Australia or New Zealand, the latest promo from American Airlines AAdvantage could score you up to 25,000 bonus miles.

Earn bonus miles on American or Qantas flights between the U.S. and Australia or New Zealand, depending on your fare class: 100% bonus miles in first, business or premium economy and 50% bonus miles in the main cabin. Register and book by Aug. 7, 2025. Travel by May 31, 2026; blackout dates apply between Dec. 15, 2025, and Jan. 12, 2026.

Earn bonus miles with shopping portal promotions

Believe it or not, the first day of school is just around the corner — and several airline shopping portals are offering lucrative back-to-school promos. You don't have to be shopping for school supplies to earn extra miles with these deals:

• American Airlines AAdvantage eShopping: Earn up to 2,000 bonus miles by Aug. 11.
• Alaska Mileage Plan Shopping: Earn up to 1,000 bonus miles by Aug. 4.
• Delta SkyMiles Shopping: Earn up to 2,000 bonus miles by Aug. 11.
• Southwest Rapid Rewards Shopping: Earn up to 2,000 bonus points by Aug. 11.
• United MileagePlus Shopping: Earn up to 2,500 bonus miles by Aug. 11.

These bonus offers vary, so check each shopping portal for details. Typically, you'll earn a set number of bonus points after spending a certain amount across all merchants — an easy way to boost your earnings on everyday online purchases.

Hotel loyalty program promotions (July 2025)

Hotel loyalty programs occasionally offer discounted stays and new ways to earn extra points. Here are some July deals to consider when booking your next stay.

Earn double points at Preferred hotels

Preferred Hotels' I Prefer rewards program may not get the most press in the world of points and miles, but it's a solid option for fans of luxurious, boutique and historic hotels. With this promotion, I Prefer members can earn double points on stays at participating I Prefer hotels around the world.

Members typically earn 5 or 10 points per dollar spent on stays, depending on the brand, so you'll earn up to 20 points per dollar spent with this promotion. Bonus points will be earned on base points only, not including elite status bonuses, and bonus points earned through this promotion do not count toward tier qualification.

To take advantage of this offer, register, book and stay by Aug. 31.

Triple your Hyatt earnings in Latin America and the Caribbean

If you're dreaming of an ocean escape, this promotion is for you. This fall, you can earn triple the base points per eligible stay at participating World of Hyatt hotels in Latin America and the Caribbean. To qualify, stays must be booked directly with Hyatt under an eligible cash rate, a free night award or a Points + Cash rate. Register for this promotion by Oct. 14, then complete your stay between Aug. 1 and Oct. 31.

World of Hyatt points are one of our favorite hotel currencies at TPG, thanks to the program's generous award chart; they're worth 1.7 cents apiece by our July 2025 valuations.

Earn 60,000 Wyndham points on a home warranty

Buying a home? A home warranty can give you peace of mind and potentially save you big bucks on repairs — and with this promo, you can earn 60,000 Wyndham Rewards points on your purchase. Since redemptions start at 7,500 points per night, that's equivalent to up to eight free nights.

Earn 60,000 bonus Wyndham points when you enroll in an American Home Shield Gold or Platinum home warranty through this offer page by Dec. 31. This offer is available only to residents of the continental U.S. (excluding Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands), other than New York City.

Credit card promotions (July 2025)

Card issuers offer deals and discounts on everything from airfare to dining. Here are some of the offers we've rounded up this week. Remember that you must activate these offers on your card and use your enrolled card to make the purchase to earn bonus rewards. Not all offers may be available on your account.

• Earn double Accor Live Limitless base points on eligible stays across Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East. Activate this offer, book by July 31 and stay by Dec. 31. Plus, ALL elite members can earn up to 1,000 additional bonus points simply for downloading the ALL mobile app.
• Earn 25,000 bonus Bonvoy points when you book a Vacations by Marriott Bonvoy package with five or more consecutive nights at eligible hotels across the Caribbean, Latin America and Mexico. Book by July 31, and complete your vacation by Dec. 31.
• Earn 1,000 to 15,000 bonus Bonvoy points per stay at over 250 participating Marriott hotels and resorts across the Caribbean and Latin America. Book by Aug. 14 with promo code "S2449," and stay by Sept. 30.
• Earn 2,000 bonus IHG One Rewards points for every two nights you stay, or earn 8,000 bonus points for every four nights you stay, with no cap on the number of bonus points you can earn. To qualify, stays must have a total spending of $30 (or local currency equivalent) per night; stays booked with points or a combination of points and cash are ineligible. You can register for only one of these promotions, then you must complete your stay(s) by Aug. 31.
• If you hold Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite or Ambassador Elite status and/or United MileagePlus Premier Gold, Platinum or 1K status, you can earn 500 bonus MileagePlus miles on qualifying stays at Marriott Bonvoy properties and 750 bonus Bonvoy points on qualifying United Airlines flights. • Earn 750 bonus Qatar Privilege Club Avios on your first qualifying stay at any hotel or resort within the Hilton portfolio of brands. Register, book directly with Hilton and complete your stay by Sept. 30.
• Earn 1,000 Turkish Miles&Smiles miles and 50% more status miles on your first stay in any hotel or resort within the Hilton portfolio of brands. Register, then book through Hilton channels and stay by Sept. 30.
• Book a suite or premium room at participating IHG properties, and you can get every third night free on stays of up to 30 days. Book by Sept. 30, and stay by Oct. 31.
• Earn 777 bonus World of Hyatt points per eligible night at 20-plus participating hotels and resorts worldwide, from Las Vegas to the Caribbean to South Korea. You must register for this promotion first, then complete your stay by Sept. 30.

Additionally, many stand-alone Amex and Chase offers are still available across a variety of credit cards. Keep in mind that these offers are targeted; you also need to activate them prior to making an eligible purchase to receive cash back or bonus points or miles.

• Earn a one-time $50 statement credit when you spend at least $200 on one or more purchases directly with JetBlue. This offer ends July 28.
• Earn a one-time $50 statement credit when you spend at least $199 on one or more Clear purchases online by Aug. 21. This offer excludes Clear Mobile, Clear Concierge, TSA PreCheck and e-gift cards.
