Last chance: Earn up to 5 free nights with the World of Hyatt Card
Editor's Note
If you want to save money and enjoy solid perks on an upcoming stay at a Hyatt property, or have been considering adding a World of Hyatt card to your wallet — now may be the time to act, especially with a key offer ending soon.
The World of Hyatt program is know for offering some of the best redemption rates in the industry, along with a diverse portfolio of distinctive hotel brands. And right now, the personal card — the World of Hyatt Credit Card (see rates and fees) — is featuring what may be its most generous welcome offer in more than a year, with the chance to earn up to five free nights.
However, this elevated bonus is only available through 9 a.m. ET on Feb. 26, and earning the full offer requires a relatively high spending threshold — so you'll want to be confident you can meet it before applying.
Here's a closer look at the current welcome offers to help you decide whether it makes sense to apply before the personal card's deadline.
World of Hyatt Credit Card
Last chance: Until Feb. 26 at 9 a.m. ET, new cardholders of the World of Hyatt Credit Card can earn up to five free nights*:
- Three free nights after spending $5,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening.
- Plus, two additional free nights after spending a total of $15,000 on purchases in the first six months.
*Free nights can be redeemed at any Category 1-4 Hyatt hotel or resort worldwide.
Based on TPG's February 2026 valuations, this bonus is worth up to $1,530 (if you can maximize each free night at a maximum of 18,000 points each).

When you look strictly at the value of the free night awards (excluding past offers that included accelerated paths to elite status), this is the most generous welcome offer we've seen on this card since November 2024. This promotion stands out for travelers who prioritize straightforward, high-value free nights over status-qualifying shortcuts — especially if they redeem the free nights at Category 4 properties.
Note, however, that while the first three nights are relatively easy to obtain ($5,000 in spending in three months), the additional two require a more concerted effort ($15,000 in six months).
Annual fee: $95
Earning rates:
- Up to 9 points per dollar spent on Hyatt stays (4 points per dollar on qualifying purchases at Hyatt hotels and 5 points per dollar as a World of Hyatt member)
- 2 points per dollar on tickets purchased directly from an airline, fitness club and gym memberships, local transit and commuting and at restaurants
- 1 point per dollar on everything else
Why we like it: This card has valuable ongoing perks, the best of which is an annual free night certificate at a Category 1-4 Hyatt property, which you'll receive every account anniversary. You'll also get a second free night after spending $15,000 in a calendar year.

World of Hyatt Business Credit Card
With the World of Hyatt Business Credit Card (see rates and fees), new cardholders can currently earn 60,000 bonus points after spending $5,000 on purchases within the first three months from account opening.

Based on TPG's February 2026 valuations, this bonus is worth $1,020, which is the offer we typically see throughout the card's history.
Annual fee: $199
Earning rates:
- Up to 9 points per dollar on Hyatt stays (4 points per dollar on qualifying purchases at Hyatt hotels and 5 points per dollar as a World of Hyatt member)
- 2 points per dollar on fitness club and gym membership purchases
Cardholders also earn 2 points per dollar in their top three spending categories each quarter with no spending cap. These categories include:
- Airline tickets purchased directly from an airline
- Car rental agencies
- Dining
- Gas stations
- Internet, cable and phone services
- Local transit and commuting
- Shipping
- Social media and search engine advertising
The points-earning rates will be adjusted automatically on the categories where you spend the most each quarter, so there's no need to select your preferred categories.
Beyond the bonus categories, you'll earn 1 point per dollar on all purchases.
Why we like it: Hyatt loyalists who own a business can find value in the card's $100 in Hyatt credits each anniversary year and the ability to gift Discoverist status to up to five employees.
You'll earn five tier-qualifying nights for every $10,000 you spend on the card in a calendar year.

Why should you get a Hyatt card?
Both the World of Hyatt personal and business cards offer plenty of benefits for Hyatt loyalists. In fact, the Hyatt personal card ranks among the top picks of TPG staffers.
Having either card automatically grants you Discoverist status, which includes benefits such as late checkout, preferred rooms and a 10% points bonus on eligible purchases. Spending on either card can also earn you additional elite-qualifying nights.

You'll also enjoy several travel protections, such as baggage delay insurance, lost luggage reimbursement and trip interruption and cancellation insurance.
Plus, the personal card comes with a free night certificate every year (valid at Category 1-4 properties), which is extremely valuable for any Hyatt enthusiast.

Bottom line
There's much to love about both World of Hyatt credit cards, even if you don't frequently stay at Hyatt hotels. Both the personal and business cards feature several perks that can easily cover their reasonable annual fees.
Even better, both welcome offers are currently valued at more than $1,000 in value according to TPG's valuations, and the personal card's is the biggest offer we've seen on this card in over a year.
But it's only available until 9 a.m. ET on Feb. 26, so eligible applicants who can meet the spending requirement may want to apply soon (and hit the minimum spending requirement) to lock it in.
